Live It Up is a program that promotes living a healthy lifestyle for young girls aged 11 to 13. Too often girls get caught up with Facebook, friends or issues at school and are not taking the time to truly take care of themselves. However it is essential for girls to understand that how they feel on the inside directly impacts how they look and feel on the outside.


Live It Up  challenges them to set their own personal goals and definitions of success. Participation in the program promotes movement skills, group cohesion and health awareness (physical activities, use of the Fitness Studio and healthy eating)  to develop girls sense of personal power and self worth.


Participation in Live it Up and use of the Youth Fitness Studio are available at NO CHARGE , thanks to the proceeds from the annual Krista Johnson Memorial Run for Change.

Mindfulness for Teens-Thursdays 6-7pm

Being a youth can be really stressful, a youth's brain is still under construction! Mindfulness has been shown to reduce anxiety change the trajectory of depression, increase creativity, improve self-esteem, reduce headaches, reduce stress and improve mood disorders.

Teen Cooking Class
Tue & Thurs 5:30-7:30pm

Starting September 17th • Free for 11-17 years old

 Information: There will be a different cooking class on each night. On Tuesday nights there will be a beginner class and Thursday’s will be a more advanced cooking night. On Tuesdays it will be a basic meal where your child can learn to cook a basic meal with quick and easy prep. On Thursday nights there will be a theme to cook dinner or lunch meals. To take part in the Thursday cooking night you have to had taken part in our last teen cooking class sessions or our summer program.
